HOME-STYLE DOG BOARDING

When you have to be away from home, you want to know that your dog is in the best hands possible. At K9 Logix, we offer stress-free, home-style dog boarding that gives your pup a loving home away from home. Forget the noisy, crowded kennels – when your dog stays with us, they become part of our family for the duration of their visit. Our boarding service is all about safety, comfort, and trust: you can enjoy your time away knowing your furry friend is happy and well cared for in a cozy, caring environment.

A Home Away From Home
Our boarding setup is unlike a traditional kennel. Your dog will stay in our home environment, where it’s calm, comfortable, and familiar. They’ll have their own comfy space to sleep (bring their favorite bed or blanket if you like!) and will lounge in a house setting with access to indoor and outdoor areas, just like they’re used to.
We maintain their normal routine as much as possible – feeding times, walks, play, and rest – to minimize stress. Does your dog love sleeping on the couch or need a bedtime belly rub? Just let us know their preferences and we’ll make sure they get the same love and attention they do with you.

Why Choose K9 Logix for Boarding?

Home-Style Comfort:

Your dog won’t be confined to a tiny cage. They’ll stay in a cage-free environment, enjoying comfortable indoor accommodations. We have cozy dog beds, sofas for the llowed-on-furniture pups, and climate-controlled areas to keep them at the perfect temperature.

It’s a truly homey atmosphere, so sensitive dogs feel at ease.

Personalized Care:

We only board a small number of dogs at one time, which means your pup gets lots of one-on-one attention. We play with them, cuddle them, and treat them as our own. Whether your dog loves fetch in the yard, leisurely strolls, or just curling up by our feet, we adapt to what makes them happiest.

This individualized care is especially great for dogs who might get overwhelmed in large boarding facilities.

Safety First:

Your dog’s safety is our top priority. Our home and yard are safe and secure – we have a fully fenced yard for supervised playtime, and we dog-proof indoor spaces. We are always watching over our guests; your dog will never be left alone for long periods. (Someone is home overnight and throughout the day.) We also require all boarding dogs to be up to date on vaccinations and to be friendly with people and other dogs, so everyone under our roof is safe and healthy.

If any issue arises, we’re experienced in pet first aid and have a vet on call nearby.

Experienced, Loving Hosts:

As professional dog trainers and devoted dog lovers, we understand canine behavior and body language. We know how to help a new dog settle in comfortably. Shy dog needing extra reassurance? No problem. High-energy pup needing lots of exercise? We’ve got it covered. We have the knowledge and patience to give each dog the care they need. And of course, we give tons of affection – belly rubs, ear scratches, and playtime are all part of the package!

Updates and Communication:

We know it’s hard to be away from your pet, so we ensure you’re never in the dark. Expect regular updates, photos, or videos of your dog enjoying their stay. You’ll see them on walks, playing with a toy, or snoozing after a fun day. These updates mean you can relax on your trip, knowing your pup is having a great time. And if you ever have a question or just miss your dog’s face, you can message us – we’re happy to reply with an update anytime.

What a Typical Day Looks Like:

Your dog’s day with us will be filled with a healthy balance of activity and rest. In the morning, we start with wake-up potty breaks and breakfast (according to your instructions and their regular diet). After that, dogs can enjoy some playtime – maybe chasing a ball in the yard, or a nice walk around the neighborhood for some fresh air and sniffing. Midday, there’s usually quiet time to relax (especially for older dogs or those who like afternoon naps). In the afternoon, we might do another play session, a little basic training review (we can keep up any training cues you’re working on, just let us know!), or interactive toy time to keep their mind engaged. Dinner is served around their normal time, with another potty break of course. Evening times are family time – perhaps hanging out with us while we watch TV or do chores, so your dog gets that homey feel. Lastly, a bedtime potty break and then settling in for a good night’s sleep. We stick to whatever crate or bedtime routine your dog is used to – if they sleep in a crate, we make it comfy; if they usually sleep in a dog bed in the bedroom, we accommodate that. Some dogs even like a bedtime treat or a night light; just tell us what makes them most comfortable.

Throughout their stay, your dog will be spoken to, played with, and lovingly cared for as if they were our own. We learn their quirks (maybe they have a favorite toy or a special scratch spot that makes their tail wag) and make sure they feel loved. We also carefully supervise any interactions with our own pets or other boarding dogs to ensure everyone is getting along. If your dog prefers to be solo, we’ll give them separate playtime — that’s the benefit of a small-scale home boarding program.

Trust and Peace of Mind:

We understand that trusting someone with your furry family member is a big deal. At K9 Logix, we take that trust very seriously. Our home-style boarding is built on the idea that when your dog is with us, they’re family. Many of our clients tell us their dogs drag them up to our door on their second visit — a sure sign that the pups consider it a home-away-from-home! Knowing that your dog is happy allows you to enjoy your time apart without guilt or worry. Whether you’re on a business trip, a family vacation, or just need an overnight sitter, you can rest easy knowing your dog is safe and enjoying themselves.

Before your dog’s first boarding stay, we’ll schedule a meet-and-greet if possible. This lets your dog get to know us and our space briefly while you’re there, and it lets us answer any questions you have. We’ll discuss your dog’s routines, any special needs (like medications, dietary restrictions, or quirks), and ensure it’s a good fit. This extra step helps make the actual drop-off day much smoother – your pup will recognize us and settle in quicker.

Going the Extra Mile:

We’re happy to accommodate special requests. Does your dog need daily medication or have mobility issues? We can handle that. Still in the middle of house-training a puppy? We’ll keep up with their schedule. Really particular about how much chicken topper goes on the kibble? Just leave instructions – we aim to make their stay just like home. We can even brush your dog or give them a bath before you pick them up (just let us know in advance; additional grooming services can be arranged). Our goal is a tail-wagging pick-up where you reunite with a dog who is relaxed, clean, and content.

When you board with K9 Logix, you’re not just a client – you’re family. We pour our heart into ensuring a positive, safe, and loving experience for every dog that stays with us. Your pup won’t just be a name on a chart; they’ll be our special houseguest. Many dogs are excited to come back again and again, and that’s the highest compliment for us.

Next time you need to be away, give your dog a mini vacation with K9 Logix Home-Style Boarding. They’ll have fun, make new friends (humans and maybe canine), and you’ll get a dog returned to you who is not only well cared for but also likely picked up a few good habits from staying with a trainer! Travel guilt-free knowing your best friend is in the best of hands. We can’t wait to welcome your pup into our home!
